| Holley Hollow |
Marilu painted the landscapes that delighted her the most in her travels. She would take many photographs of the places she visited all over the world for her scrapbooks. When she returned from her adventures, she would paint her landscapes from the best of these photos.
She also delighted in her surroundings at home in California. This painting is of the stream behind "Holley Hollow", the cabin her father built in Big Bear, CA. Below are some of her other paintings from her world travels. In addition, she painted many landscapes of home in Southern California.

This painting, titled Portifino, was a favorite in our family. In fact, it was quite poupular with her patrons as well. She was commissioned to paint this same landscape a number of times. The last painting she had on her easel in her studio was of Portifino.
