I hope you enjoy the pages here. I update this site only occasionally, and hope to start writing more now that I have more time to read, write and reflect on my amazing life.

I am now retired from working as a Health Promotion and Wellness Nurse for our local Health Department. Because of Degenerative Disk Disease and two neck and back surgeries that were not very successful, I am now on disability. Some days I feel pretty functional others I have to rest and rejuvenate. Having a regular yoga practice has made all the difference in the world for me and I have not needed to use a cane to walk with in months, thanks to the balance and healing that yoga and meditation has brought to my body and soul. I was blessed this summer to be treated to a month of travel, mostly cruising the Norwegian fjords and the North Sea. I also volunteer at Happehatchee Center on the Estero River in SW Florida as their newsletter editor and Board member.
